In 1927, Theologos I. Theologitis, originally from Hydra (an island located in the Argosaronic archipelago), decided to leave his beloved island and came to Piraeus to engage in the shipping business.
In 1975 his son John Theol. Theologitis decided to follow his father's example and joined him bringing new ideas to the company that gradually shaped the company into its current form.
